This is a beautifully made headphone stand that comes un assembled. Assembly was fairly easy but there are some tiny screws so if you don't like or are unable to work with a few tiny screws perhaps look elsewhere. This headphone stand can hold up to two pairs of headphones depending on there size. This was my second headphone stand from this company. The first stand has been in use for over five years and still looks new. I did have to retighten a few screws in the last five years but that is the only maintenance which I have done on the first stand. Overall I am 100 percent satisfy. I use both my stands with full size over ear headphones which are fairly big and heavy. The stand is very sturdy and have enough height so that the headphones clear the base with several inches to spare. The headphones I use with the stand are Focal Utopia, Hifiman Susvara & HE1000. Price wise it is one of the most expensive headphone stands being sold on Amazon but still reasonable for the craftsmanship and the solid aluminum build. Now getting back to the tiny screws.. Make sure you are using the correct size screw driver or you will strip them. Also don't over tighten. I'm pretty sure this headphone stand will outlast my headphones and I will continue to employ them to duty on any future headphone I may buy.I never imagined just raising my computer up 2" could make such a difference! I should have done this years ago. I have been struggling with ergonomics on my desk for some time, and had actually started looking seriously at external 4K monitors (the big 27" kind for hundreds of dollars and become the focal point of my whole room) because I thought that was my only solution. Much as I love my 15" MacBook Pro with Retina, the screen always seemed too small and too far away, even on the riser I already had. I already use a Just Mobile XStand Pro to raise the laptop up a few inches, so I thought I should be able to just adjust the screen angle and be fine. Not!In my research about the proper screen size vs. viewing distance ratios according to ergonomics research, I discovered that my screen was actually the right size for my small desk, but it was too low. I experimented with stuff around the house and found that 2.5" taller made all the difference in the world. Everything suddenly came into focus, I could sit straight instead of leaning forward at weird angles, and everything felt much more natural. I ordered this little SilverStone riser to pop underneath my XStand to get the extra height and voila! Instant ergonomics for 1/10th of the price and much less hassle than an external monitor. (So to clarify, I sit the XStand on top of this SilverStone riser for the combined height. They're both the same silver tone as my MBP so it all looks very nice.)I also love that this stand gives me a space to tuck my keyboard and mouse away when I'm doing paperwork on my desk, or more importantly, to tuck my laptop away at night. (The XStand is fairly stable, but with the swarm of earthquakes we've had in the area lately, it made me nervous to have my baby perched up there all night. Now I have a little "garage" to tuck her into instead, which makes me feel much better.)The moral of this long story: don't underestimate the power of a couple of inches of height, and don't be afraid to get creative about combining it with other stands/accessories to make your workstation fit your needs. You only get one set of eyeballs and one neck/back, so take care of yourself! This is an expensive stand for sure but, at it's price point it is top of the line. For those on the fence regarding price, one key benefit is you can have 2 headphones on the stand at one time without crowding either pair. That alone makes this a $30 per unit cost if you hang 2 cans on it.The build quality of this stand is bar none. The stand comes packaged in a flat black box and all the pieces are encased in styrofoam casing. This is one solid and heavy stand that is well balanced and no fear of it tipping over. You have to put the stand together as it comes in 3 pieces base, neck, and hanger. The hardware is 4 small screws and metal plate that attaches the neck to the hanger stand underneath. The neck attaches to the base with 2 longer screws that you screw in from underneath the stand. There are 3 rubber foot pads attached and one that you attach after screwing the base to the neck. This is high grade aluminum with attention paid to detail and design. I didn't experience any sharp edges per say, the cuts are all beveled but I can see how some people may think that by the angles on the hanger. The finish is a matte feel of which i have no issues, I like it because once you place your cans on it they stay rock solid in place. Height is 11 inches from the bottom of the base to the top of the highest middle point on the hanger section. It fits my Sennheiser Momentums 2.0 Wireless and Oppo PM-3 with plenty of room underneath them. The only drawback and it is a minor one is that the stand provides no type of cable management. You either detach the cable of or you can wrap around the neck (ugly look).I’ve been searching for ages for a monitor stand that will support my hefty 16kg 27” all in one PC and fit my Focusrite 2i4 beneath without it making the screen ridiculously high off the desk. This is it. The Focusrite fits with like a millimetre to spare so it can still slide out if required. Plus the thick aluminium of the stand doesn’t seem to bow in the middle under the weight of my all in one PC. The cheap knock offs of this stand simply don’t have the clearance for the audio interface. I bought the silver stand on sale for £36 and I think it was money well spent.I have seen this stand a lot cheaper from other sites, and have ordered from two of these sites and none could deliver so ordered from Amazon, okay at a higher price but it was delivered. As too the stand it is absolute quality, very very sturdy look as if it is part of the Mac. Great buy, don’t hesitate and buy it.Bought the two arm and one arm version in black but will let one review suffice. The mounts are holding up a 15" laptop (with an Ergotron tray) and two 25" PC monitors. Used it for a few months now and it's been excellent. Setup took a bit of time but functionally the mounts have been excellent. Things move nice and smooth and stay exactly where they are supposed to without sagging or rattling around despite table shakes when typing on a keyboard. The only nitpick would be with cable management on the lower arms. If your cable has a think end, say DVI plug, you'll have to screw a plastic piece off, run the cable and screw it back in place. The upper arms have a detachable plastic cable cover which I wish was in both places.Would buy again if I were to add more monitors.Very sturdy, sleek & good quality stand. It’s quite well priced considering its thickness. My daughter loves it & is very satisfied with the product. I can put my keyboard under the stand which makes my desk look much tidier.was expensive but nice finishbut the one of the feet came offmaybe they should have added spares or a better longer type strip to all contact points
