I was looking for a touch screen monitor with as much real estate as I could get and for the price the Planar Helium doesn't disappoint. It offers a good variety of connection options with a DisplayPort, VGA, and HDMI ports. It also has 2x USB 2.0 ports on the rear and 3.5mm audio in/out jacks. It came with a VGA, HDMI, and audio cable as well as a cord wrap and a small cell-phone style stylus (which, while appreciated, is not optimal for such a large screen). The onboard speakers are pretty tinny, but I didn't even realize that it had built in speakers before I purchased it so that's no let-down. I was very impressed by the kickstand attached to the backside of the monitor, it feels very steady when upright at 15 degrees and will hold the unit anywhere along the way down to 70 degrees. When it is in it's lowest position, it is easy to type using on-screen keyboards and take full advantage of the multi-touch functionality. Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase. I originally planned to use a wall mount for the screen, but the kickstand works so well I've stuck with it for the last few months. Now for the bad:-This is a HEAVY monitor. It is much heavier even than some of it's all-in-one counterparts such as the Lenovo Horizon (although it is comparable to the A740).-There is a fair amount of light bleed toward the lower corners of the screen. It lessens slightly when the monitor is reclined to its lowest position, so I suspect that this may be a symptom of its weight putting pressure on the display. It becomes noticeable when viewing darker images and video.-It is sometimes difficult to manage cords connected to the monitor. I have both all of the ports except for the audio in/out occupied and there is noticeable resistance from the bending cords when tilting the screen p and down. It seems that it would have been better to put the ports on one side of the screen considering the motion that the screen makes. It is a small downside, but it does become a nuisance from time to time.-I won't short this monitor for not being QHD because of when it came out, but the image quality isn't perfect. Like I said, it's great for multi-tasking, but the color and sharpness aren't where I would want them to be for work in photoshop. This monitor, though it works as advertised, is very large and heavy, with a wide bezel (1 1/2 inchess all around, which makes the thing look huge. It was too heavy for my swing-arm stand. The most annoying thing is waking up in the night and seeing the blue light from the monitor. There's no input; it's just a not-too-faint blue; basically enough to light up a small room. This might be good for something like a public display, but does not work as a personal computer monitor. I replace mine with a 24" touch screen from a well-known manufacturer, which is everything this monitor is not -- except it's only 24".Was looking for more touch screen real estate by either buying a 27 inch or 31 inch all in one computer or just a 27 inch touchscreen monitor. The difference in a screen and computer was from $500 to $2000 more for a computer.First pre-ordered a DTEN Me Zoom 27 inch but after months of shipping delays canceled and ordered this Planar 27 inch.I use it as a duplicate monitor for annotation when teaching online. So far, so good.Little heavier than expected. Prop stand works well. Was plug and play using Windows 10.First, let talk about the Bad. camera, so awful, useless, . video will only give you a blur movement can not catch video, only good for Picture. Second to think this monitor is manufacture made, all the cable should have bundle, or custome into one connector, one cable. still all individual. Three cable+ if you use other USB, all clutter, Third, I don't knows about other people, But I notice that even though the monitor is off the touch function still on, if computer still on, any touch on the screen will deploy what ever it is in the spot. Fourth, mic is very low. system hardly recognize voice, I don't even use it, it also additional cable. My first one the touch screen peel off on the top. I have to sent back. Support is responsive. But to think I trading my brand new unit for a refurbished not quit happy. but have no choice. Picture quality is good, not brilliant. have to sit straight in front or color will look wash out.LAST, refresh screen seems to be slow, somehow it is not reset itself, when it crash. screen just black out and it happen a lot both monitor I had did the the same thing, usually happen when login, get quit a game, or app,the only thing to do is shut off the monitor and turn back on. my Graphic card is not cheap. I have the 780 gtx classified.I gave a 3 star because the touch functions work. still on desktop I cant bring up the task bar with touch, it don't work have to use key board, so if you like to use desktop mode a lot the touch screen still not up to it. keep in mind google chrome and google is not very responsive to touch screen, only Internet Explore. price is higher than others. I bought it, because it has ten point touch, camera, mic. In conclusion I should have go with the other. because no application will allow,or use ten point touch yet for home user. camera and mic are useless.Yea I was very disappoint with this product. I'll start with the good thing about this monitor then move into the issues I had with it. For the price that I paid it was a great deal for a 27 inch touch screen. It looked nice and clean similar to a Apple monitor but thicker border around the screen. The stand attached to the back is strong and allows for extreme angle placement. Now for my issues. This thing is heavy. It weights as much as my iMac but that thing has a Hard Drive, a GPU and a whole computer. If all you wanted it for was a second monitor, then hook it up via HDMI and you gravy. But this is a touch screen monitor. That's why I got it. Here I am thinking it's a plug and play or a simple download of the driver from the site. Oh no. The driver for this model is not on the website so you have to search. I was very disappointed and discouraged but nonetheless continued. Finally found the driver for this model from someone else and tadah...happy as a clam until I looked closely at what was required of me. This particular driver cost about $120.I returned the unit. As much as I wanted a touch screen for my workflow...this one wouldn't be in it.This touchscreen monitor is great, it responds really fast and is a nice size for working, The camera is pretty clear and has a built in mic as well.Although it took me like 25 minutes to change the mode to AUTO mode because when I bought this it was without manual so I had to look up the internet for the manual. Wasn't easy to switch back to AUTO detect input mode. So far I love this monitor!Hi, the touch functionality is good, and because this thing weighs in at over 10 kg's, is sits solid when banging on the screen to select stuff. However, the color in not so good. Black is actually quite grey ... and therefor hard to get deep, rich coloration. Also the adjustment touch buttons, although look cool as touch, are a bit tough to use especially after staring at the bright screen for a while ... they should have the buttons light up or something!Funciona excelente con windows 10. No muy recomendable para mac. Muy buena compra.Wow I now have 2 of those used with win8.1 great production ! Really precised touchscreen. I use them with a intense lighting software with only touch gestures.
